PTA
The PTA work tirelessly each year to raise extra funds for our school, so that we can buy fantastic resources as well as making contributions to larger projects. Recent purchases have included mobile white boards, maths resources, and the materials to create a new and calming sensory area.
Fundraising activities over recent years have included quiz nights, school discos, film nights and cake sales. We are often to be found running a stall at our village events or a bar at school events such as sports days and nativity plays.
We appreciate the hard work that goes into running such events, but they are not possible without the help of the parents of our pupils. If you have a fundraising idea, or know contacts in the local area, or can spare half an hour to help with setting up an event – ALL help is welcome and appreciated.
All parents and carers are automatically members of the PTA. Please speak to a member of the PTA to get involved in helping our school raise these much needed extra funds.

Our teachers have carefully selected wish list items that will inspire and support the children’s learning, including books, classroom resources, art and craft supplies and gardening resources. Staff will continue to add items over the school year.
If you find something you would like to purchase, just add it to you basket and follow the same process as if you were ordering something for yourself. The items will be delivered directly to our school.
You can make a direct impact on the resources we need and enable staff and pupils to enjoy a wide range of learning experiences.

Match Funding
This scheme is when your company matches the amount of money raised at a fundraising event. Microsoft and O2 have recently match funded events. Ask your company if they can match funds – there is nothing to lose! Once you have confirmed that they do, sign up to be involved at one of our events. Once the event is complete, we will provide you with the total amount raised, the PTA bank account and photo evidence! Take that back to your company so that they can match our funds!
Sponsorship
Ask your company if they will sponsor our newsletter, HurstFest, Dinner Dance, or any other PTA event. No amount is too small.
Gift Aid Monthly Contributions
If you are a taxpayer, the PTA can claim 25p on every pound that you donate. We ask you to sign the declaration below. Any amount helps.
