Milne Class (Early Years Foundation Stage and Year 1)

WELCOME TO MILNE CLASS

Milne Class, named after the British author A.A. Milne, is for children in Early Years Foundation Stage.

Alan Alexander Milne was an English author, best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie the Pooh.

Donaldson Class (Year 1 and Year 2)

WELCOME TO DONALDSON CLASS

Donaldson Class, named after the British writer and playwright Julia Donaldson, is for children in Year 1 and Year 2.

Julia Donaldson CBE is an English writer, playwright and performer, and the 2011–2013 Children's Laureate. She is best known for her popular rhyming stories for children, especially those illustrated by Axel Scheffler, which include The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and Stick Man.

KS1 SATs Parent Information 

Every year, the Year 2 class teacher will host a SATs information evening for parents to attend. This will be held in January either online or face to face.  Parents are expected to attend.

TS Eliot Class (Year 3 and Year 4)

WELCOME TO TS ELIOT CLASS

TS Eliot Class, named after the poet and playwright, T.S. Eliot, and is for children in Years 3 and 4.

Thomas Stearns Eliot OM was a poet, essayist, publisher, playwright, literary critic and editor. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved to England in 1914 at the age of 25 and went on to settle, work and marry there. He was awarded the Order of Merit in 1948.

Longfellow Class (Year 4 and Year 5)

WELCOME TO LONGFELLOW CLASS

Longfellow Class, named after the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, is for children in Years 4 and 5.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was an American poet and educator whose works include "Paul Revere's Ride", The Song of Hiawatha, and Evangeline. He was also the first American to translate Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

Blake Class (Year 6)

WELCOME TO BLAKE CLASS

Blake Class, named after the poet William Blake, is for children in Year 6.

William Blake was an English poet, painter and printmaker. Largely unrecognised during his lifetime, Blake is now considered a seminal figure in the history of the poetry and visual arts of the Romantic Age.
