Viewing the School

Open mornings for prospective parents are arranged annually in the Autumn Term. For a list of dates, please visit our Open Mornings page under News & Events.

Transition Visits

Prior to children starting school, they are invited to attend a morning session in their classroom to become familiar with their new environment and to meet their peers. Parents are also invited to a brief information meeting with the Headteacher, Foundation Stage teacher, School Council children and representatives from the Governing body and PTA. These visits are extremely useful to both parents and children in getting to know the school.

For children starting school in September 2021, the key dates are as follows:

Deadline to accept offer of school place 4th May 2021
Closing date for receipt of appeals 18th May 2021

Home Visits

The Foundation stage team will arrange a visit to meet parents and child at home in early September prior to starting school.

Admissions Policy 2022-23 - Draft


The arrangements for admission to the school in the academic year September 2022 – 2023 have now been determined and these can be found on the school’s Policies page.  If you consider that these are not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or the law relating to admissions, you may object to the Schools Adjudicator. Contact details can be found on the Office of the Schools Adjudicator website
